The public is invited to attend a ceremony honoring our veterans on Saturday, November 11th, 2023, at 10:00 a.m.

This event is held annually and will be held at The Veterans Memorial Green on Gardners Neck Road, Swansea.  This ceremony is sponsored by the American Legion Post #303, VFW Post #2045 and Swansea Veteran’s Services.

A traditional wreath placing and Color Guard will be followed by presentations.
In the event of rain or inclement weather the ceremony will be held at the American Legion Post #303 on Ocean Grove Avenue, Swansea.

An essay contest on “What Veterans’ Day Means to Me,” is being done by the students of Case Junior High School.  The winning essay will be read by the student.
