How did you pick Swansea?

For us, it is a family business.  My parents' first Dunkin' was on the corner of Rt. 6 & Rt. 136 in North Swansea. The year they purchased  the business was 1989.  They decided they wanted to find a perfect location on the other side of town to build another Dunkin'.  This is when the Dunkin' on Wilbur Avenue in Swansea became a reality.  We have owned this Dunkin' since 1994.  We did a complete demolition and rebuild at this location in 2013.  We made the business run much better at this time by wrapping the Drive Thru around the building.  

Best part of being a business owner?

The best part of being a business owner is being your own boss.  It is also being able to serve the community.  We work closely with the Town and help whenever possible with anything they may need.  It is very rewarding to have your own business.

Struggles you have had?

The biggest struggle ever was definitely Covid!  It was a very stressful time to try and keep everyone working, healthy, and safe while still delivering great service to our guests.  

What is the favorite product we have?  

My favorite is still the donuts.  I never really got sick of them.  We recently brought back the French Crullers, and they are delicious.   

Favorite Place!

My favorite place in town other than Dunkin' is The Ice Cream Barn for ice cream, AND Mr. Peepers for ice cream cake.  It's the best.

I would like the Town to know that we have a full building generator so please feel free to come by and visit us if you are without power.  We have 5 ServeSafe-certified people on staff and 6 people who recently took the HeartSaver Course with the town. We put a huge emphasis on trying to have the best and friendliest crew around.
