Fitness at the Center
How can senior fitnesswe be sure our fitness programs meet your needs?  It's simple - We offer a variety of exercise programs so you can choose the format that works best for you!  Grant funding from the Executive Office of Elder Affairs has enabled us to purchase equipment and fund instructor fees.  These grant awards allow us to offer these programs at no cost to our Swansea seniors.  Donations are accepted but not required.  Our goal is to keep you active and healthy!

Fitness Equipment 
- Fitness equipment (which includes 2 recumbent bikes and 2 recumbent elliptical bikes) is available Monday - Friday to Swansea seniors 60+ in our new gym!  Take advantage of the large screen television in that room and bike along with a YouTube virtual bike tour from locations around the world.  Equipment use is limited to 30 minute sessions to allow us to accommodate as many seniors as is possible. 
Drums Alive
Drums Alive - Join us on Mondays at 9:00 AM for our newest fitness program--Drums Alive!  This fun packed fitness program makes you forget you're exercising!  It's perfect for people of all fitness levels.



Meditated Movement
- Tai ChiMeditated Movement is an introduction to Tai Chi. It’s perfect for beginners or others at any fitness level who seek to improve their overall health – mind and body. This fitness program is being offered through grant funds provided by the Executive Office of Elder Affairs. We thank them for supporting this program and our seniors.  Join us Tuesdays at 10:00 AM  for this FREE class.



ZUMBA!- is a Latin-inspired dance fitness class that incorporates fitness with dance movements. This FREE low to moderate cardio-based workout continues Wednesdays at 10 AM. NOTE: This fitness program is being offered through grant funds provided by the Executive Office of Elder Affairs. We thank them for supporting this program and our seniors.
