Information for
Town Administrator

Town Administrator Mallory Aronstein has worked in state and local government for 15 years. Joining Swansea in November 2020, Mallory has focused on establishing human resources policies and procedures throughout the town, expanding much needed municipal office space, and securing grants for a variety of transportation and recreational infrastructure, as well as advancing the interests and policy direction of the Board of Selectmen. Coordinating with other town departments and leaders, Mallory is currently working on an update to the Master Plan, updating the Local Hazard Mitigation Plan, working to coordinate significant capital projects without overburdening the taxpayers, and increasing efficiencies throughout the Town. The Town Administrator is the chief administrative officer for the town, performing high level administrative, technical and professional work in directing the activities of the Town's departments, commissions, boards and offices under the jurisdiction of the Board of Selectmen. The position also serves as the Chief Procurement Officer.
