10/2/23 - Any revisions to a plan, surety, previously discussed and/or miscellaneous items must be submitted to the Planning Department seven days prior to the meeting.
4/4/23 - Please refer to the updated Schedule of Fees when completing an application.

SWANSEA COMPREHENSIVE PLAN

The first draft of the Comprehensive Plan is available for review.  After many public input sessions and surveys, it is ready for public comment to ensure the goals and subsequent action items accurately capture the needs of the community.  Please provide those comments to John P. Hansen Jr., AICP, Community Development Director by March 21st.

2/1/21 - NEW PROCEDURES REGARDING APPLICATIONS & FEES:

APPLICATIONS FOR SPECIAL PERMITS SHOULD BE BROUGHT TO THE TOWN CLERKS OFFICE AT 81 MAIN STREET TO BE DATE STAMPED AND THEN BROUGHT TO THE PLANNING OFFICE ALONG WITH ASSOCIATED FEES.  PLEASE CONTACT THE PLANNING DEPARTMENT PRIOR TO ARRIVAL FOR THE ACCURATE FEE.  ALSO, PLEASE SEND US ELECTRONIC PLANS/REPORTS ALONG WITH ONE HARD COPY OF THE PLAN.

Minimum Lot Requirements

Frontage: 
Shall be 150 feet or more but not less than 150 ft

Minimum Lot Size (MLS):  30,000 sq ft/60,000 ft for the Aquifer District

If the frontage and MLS requirements are not met, the applicant must submit an application to the Zoning Board of Appeals found at the Town Clerk's office.
