Meeting Notice Posting Form
MEETING NOTICE FORMS:

Below you will find an official meeting posting form.  This form is to be used by all appointed boards, committees and commissions in order to post all public meetings.  Meetings must be posted 48hrs prior to any public meeting; Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays are not counted in the 48hr posting time.  All public meetings are posted with the Town Clerk's Office.

The Open Meeting Law requires that a public body post notice of every meeting at least 48 hours in advance, not including Saturdays, Sundays, and legal holidays.  G.L. c. 30A, § 20(b).  Notices must include the date, time and place of the meeting, as well as a “a listing of topics that the chair reasonably anticipates will be discussed at the meeting.”  Id.  The list of topics shall have sufficient specificity to reasonably advise the public of the issues to be discussed at the meeting.
